Install Product Filter Plugin

Admin create auction products and display on page for selling.Admin assigned many attributes to product for categorise differently.So, user can search and visit easily.Specially when admin add so many products it is necessary to add differant product filter.

There are many plugin available in market for product filter.Here we use WOOF - Products Filter for WooCommerce.Let's understand step by step.

Step 1 - First install and active plugin in your wordpress site.

Step 2 - Go to WooCommerce -> Settings.Select "Products Filter" tab.

Step 3 - Go to Extensions tab and active extensions which you want to use it.Select extensions and save changes.

Step 4 - You need to add plugin widget to sidebar area.Go to Appearance -> Widgets, scroll down and select WOOF - WooCommerce Product Filter widget.Select options wherever you want to add it.

When you select sidebar and click add widget button, you can see plugin widget added in sidebar area.Enter title which you want to display in sidebar and save it.

Step - 5 Go back to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products Filter.There are many options enable.

Add Product Categories

When admin create product at that time select category of product.For show category list go to Products -> Categories.There are total categories of all products.

For display categories go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products Filter.There you can see Product category option, select checkbox and select formate from dropdown.Save changes and refresh shop page.

Categories are display on sidebar.When select any category then filter products and display only that product which are in selected category.You can see in below screenshot.

Add Location Filter

First you need to install and active Custom Post Type UI plugin in wordpress dashboard.Go to CPT UI -> Add/Edit Taxonomies and there you need to create taxonomy called "Location".

Go to Products -> Locations. There enter locations and save it.

Now Go to Products -> Add Product.In editor you can see location option enable now.There select product's location and save it.

Then Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products Filter.There you can see location option enabled.Select check box and select formate from dropdown.If you want to setting in advance then click "additional options" and save it.

Go to shop page and refresh it.

Select any location from list, it filter automatically.This way you can add location filter.

There are many options are available in this plugin for products filter.For checking all option go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products Filter.In this settings many options for products filter like search box, featured list, rating drop down, on sale and in stock product option, save search query and product tags.
