Bid Buttons

Ultimate WooCommerce Auction pro plugin provides two buttons for bidding :

  • Button 1: Direct Bid
  • Button 2: Custom Bid

How to Enable/Disable Bid button in your website:

If you want to use the Bid button on your site first you need to enable it from admin settings. 

For enabling Bid buttons you need to navigate to WP Dashboard Auctions Settings and select the Display tab as given in the below image. 

 Scroll down and you will find the  Auction Detail Page Setting. Under it, there is an Enabled Specific field setting. Here we will do specific changes according to our needs.

Options for modifying buttons:

  • Reserve Price:

This option will let you display Reserve Price on your Auction product detail page. Enable the Reserve Price and see its effect on the auction page as per the information given in the picture below.

The text will appear in Red color format: Reserve price (price) has not been met. If Reserve Price is disabled then the text will be like Reserve price has not been met without price.

  • Direct bid button:

This bid button along with non-editable text fields is not displayed by default but the admin can enable it to show it on the auction product detail page. It displays the next bid value pre-loaded and is not editable. Users can just click the button to place the pre-loaded bid value.

Enable the Direct bid button and write the name of the label you want in the below textbox. If left blank then the default text will be "Directly Bid".

After go to your Auction product detail page and refresh the page. The Direct bid label text will change as per your input in settings and non-editable text fields will display.

The non-editable text fields list can modify from the Auction product detail page.

Bid increment: Set an amount from which the next bid should start.

Number of next bids: Set an amount that how many next bids in the dropdown when the direct bid is enabled and the maximum value is 100.

  • Custom bid button:

This bid button along with an editable text field is displayed by default on the auction product detail page. Users can write any bid value to place their own bid.

Enable the Custom bid button and write the name of the label you want in the below textbox. If left blank then the default text will be "Custom Bid".

Now users can write any bid value to place their own bid.
