Different Email Notifications

Ultimate WooCommerce Auction pro plugin has settings for email notifications. where you can manage email notifications like Bid notifications to self and auction owners, Outbid notifications to outbid users, Auction won for winners and auction owners, etc.

Email Notification:

In the Ultimate WooCommerce Auction Pro plugin, you can manage Email notifications from WooCommerce → Settings, and click on the Emails tab you will find the list of Email notifications sent from the WooCommerce auction plugin. Click on an email you want to configure. also, you can click on the Manage button on the right side to manage/configure emails.

You will find different types of auction emails on the Emails tab page. Bid Notification, Outbid Notification, Auction Won, Private Message, Ending Soon, Bid Delete Notification, Relist, Payment Reminder, etc.

Ultimate Auction - Bid Notification:

Click on Ultimate Auction - Bid Notification to manage it. This Email Notification is sent to Admin, Bidder when Bidder places a bid. when the user bids on a product on the product detail page then the admin and the bidder will receive an email of the bid placed successfully.

Enable/Disable - Enable this to get an email notification bid.

Enabled for Admin - Enabled for Admin to Send bid email notification to admin when Bidder places a bid.

Enabled for Bidder -  Enabled for Bidder to Send bid email notification to Bidder when Bidder places a bid.

Subject - Enter the subject of the email that is sent to the bidder after successfully placing a bid. Leave blank to use the default subject. You recently placed a bid on {site_title}.

Subject for Admin - Enter the subject of the email that is sent to the admin after successfully placing a bid. Leave blank to use the default subject:- {username} recently placed a bid on Auction - {auction_name}.

Recipient - Enter recipients (comma separated) for admin email. Leave blank to use the default subject.

Email Heading - Enter the Heading of the email that is sent to the bidder after successfully placing a bid. Leave blank to use the default heading: You recently placed a bid on {site_title}.

Email type - Choose which format of email to send in HTML, Plain Text, or Multipart.

HTML template - To override and edit this email template copy ultimate-woocommerce-auction-pro/templates/woocommerce/emails/placed-bid.php to your theme folder: astra/woocommerce/emails/placed-bid.php.

Example of Bid Notification Email:

The email sent to bidders when they place a bid on a product will look something like the below email.

Ultimate Auction - Outbid Notification:

This Email is sent to Bidder to outbid their bid.

Enable/Disable - Enable this email notification.

Subject - This controls the email subject line. Leave blank to use the default subject: You have been outbid on {site_title}.

Email Heading - This controls the main heading contained within the email notification. Leave blank to use the default heading: You have been outbid on {site_title}.

Email type - Choose which format of email to send in HTML, Plain Text, or Multipart.

HTML template - To override and edit this email template copy ultimate-woocommerce-auction-pro/templates/woocommerce/emails/bid-outbided.php to your theme folder: astra/woocommerce/emails/bid-outbided.php.

Ultimate Auction - Auction Won:

Email Can be sent to the bidder after winning an auction. when the admin chooses a winner or auction expires and there is a winner then an email will send to the auction winner. admin can choose an Auction winner from the list of auctions and click on the choose winner button. for more information on how to choose a winner, you can visit this article.

Example of Auction Won Email:

UltimateAuction - Private Message:

An email will be sent to the admin when the bidder sends a Private Message to the auction owner. when the bidder wants to ask for something or has a query about the auction or the product then he/she can send a private message to the auction owner and an email containing information about the person (the bidder) who sends the message privately will be sent to the admin.

To send the Private Message user/bidder can send it from the product detail page. Click on the Private message tab and write his question or query and click on send.

Example of Private Message Email:

Admin will receive an email with the information like name, email address, and the message.

Ultimate Auction - Ending Soon:

Email Can be sent to the bidders to remind them the auction is ending soon. When the auction is ending then an email containing information about the auction with an expiration date, time and current bid amount will sned to all bidders.

Enable this email notification to receive Ending soon emails.

Enable/Disable - This option will let you enable this email notification to receive an Ending soon email.

Enabled for all Bidders who have bid on auction - If enabled then all the bidders who bid on a product will receive this email.

Enabled for users who have an auction in their watchlist - This will send an email to users who have an auction in their watchlist.

Mention time left for the auction to close - Send reminder mail intervals in an hour. default is 1.

Example of Auction Ending Soon Email:

Ultimate Auction - Payment Reminder:

When the auction has the highest bid and there is a winner or auction owner chooses a winner then the winner will receive an email about payment of that auction product.

Enable/Disable - This option will let you enable this email notification so the Winner gets the remainder of the payment.

Interval in Days - Interval in Days will set reminder intervals in days. default is 5.

A number of reminder mail - Sometimes the number of the same email will frustrate the user. so from here, you can set how many emails will send to a user for payment reminders. if sent numbers of mail stop mail to remind. default is 4.

Ultimate Auction - Relist:

If no bids place on the auction product, if the reserve price is not met, if the winning user does not pay in the auction then the owner of the auction can Relist the auction for the specified period of time. for more information on Auction Relisting please visit this article.

The email of relisting can be sent to the admin when the auction is relisted.

Enable/Disable - This option will let you enable this email notification to receive an email for Auction Relist.

Enabled for Admin - Send email notification to admin when the auction is relisted.

Enabled for Bidder -  Send email notification to all participants (bidders) when the auction is relisted.

Recipient - Enter recipients (comma separated) for admin email. Leave blank to use the default subject.

Subject - Enter the subject of the email that is sent to the admin when the auction is relisted. Leave blank to use the default subject: Auction is relisted from {site_title}.

Email Heading - Enter the heading of the email that is sent to the admin when the auction is relisted. Leave blank to use the default heading: Auction is relisted from {site_title}.

Email Type - Choose which format of email to send. you can choose from HTML, Plain Text, Multipart.

HTML Template - To override and edit this email template copy ultimate-woocommerce-auction-pro/templates/woocommerce/emails/auction-relist.php to your theme folder: astra/woocommerce/emails/auction-relist.php.

Example of Auction Relist Email:

The admin will receive an email containing information with the reason for the relisted auction.

Ultimate Auction - Watchlist Notification:

Email is sent to Watchlist users when a bid is placed on the product. When an auction product adds to the Watchlist by bidders and someone places a bid on that product then all the bidders will receive an email to notify that with the current bid amount placed on that product. You can enable Watchlist notification in the auction plugin. below are the settings of how to enable notification.

 Enable/Disable - This option will let you enable this email notification to receive an email for Watchlist.

 Subject - This controls the email subject line. Leave blank to use the default subject: {site_title} - Bid was placed on an auction product that was in your watchlist.

 Email Heading - This controls the main heading contained within the email notification. Leave blank to use the default heading: {site_title} - Bid was placed on an auction product that was in your watchlist.

 Email type - Choose which format of email to send in HTML, Plain Text, or Multipart.

 HTML Template - To override and edit this email template copy ultimate-woocommerce-auction-pro/templates/woocommerce/emails/watchlist.php to your theme   folder: astra/woocommerce/emails/watchlist.php.

How to Add in Watchlist:

To add a product to the watchlist bidder first visit the product detail page and above the Bid button, there is a link for Add to Watchlist!. Click on it and the product will add to the watchlist. if you want to remove it from the watchlist then click again on the same link to remove it from the watchlist.

Now, whenever someone bid on that product all the user who watchlisted this product will receive an email to notify that there is a bid on that product which they watchlisted including current bid amount.

Ultimate Auction - Bid Delete Notification:

When Admin deletes a bid of a user from the product edit page then an email will send to a bidder to inform them that their bid has been deleted.

On the Auction Product edit page at the bottom, there is a list of bid history. Admin can click on delete to remove the bid of a particular bidder. for more information on how to delete a bid visit this article.

Ultimate Auction - Auction Lost:

Email sent to users who lost in the bidding. like auction winners, those who lost the auction will also receive an email of Auction Lost.

There are a few options that allow the admin to enable/disable Auction Lost email on a different type of auction.

Enable/Disable - This option will let you enable this email notification to send an email for Auction Lost to bidders who lost the auction.

Enable for Proxy Bidding - Enable for Proxy Bidding Users who lost the auction in proxy bidding. for more information on what is Proxy Bidding please refer to this article.
